This is the easiest thing you can do when caring for your terrarium. Make sure the water level is 1/4 of an inch at the bottom and top off when needed. Make sure that the water level does not touch the soil at all.

Soil care and watering needs

The tools we recommend are what we personally use at home. Aquarium scissors and tweezers are a must for us, due to their long length and rust resistance. Another tool we recommend is a fine mist sprayer, while pouring water is fine in a small, gentle stream, it can harm the plants or displace the dirt to the side of the container. Using mist helps prevent this and you can use it to mist the side of the container if needed.

Recommended Supplies

Plant care is fairly easy, trim when needed, making sure that one plant is not overcrowding the terrarium. If you notice any dead or unhealthy branches, gently remove them. If you have a bioactive terrarium, leave some of the dead debris for the insects to eat up.
